Relief Lino Printing Workshops with Sue Rowland
Textile artist and printmaker Sue Rowland will help you explore different types of relief blocks to create printed patterns. You will make your own detailed lino prints with designs inspired by the history of Boston or from items from the Guildhall collection. The process of lino relief print involves cutting away at the surface of soft vinyl or lino with cutting tools and using marks and textures to produce an interesting
surface which is then inked up and printed onto paper. Sue says 'cutting lino is a very relaxing, fun process and seeing the first print lifted off the inked up plate is always exciting!' Come along and enjoy print making!
